New Business Submission

For a number of products, such as Protection and Investments, there is the opportunity to submit new business electronically.

This has a number of potential advantages – as proposals and applications can be processed immediately – normally without the need for re-keying and sometimes without the need for any paper documentation, subject to the actual contract type and legislation.

As a result clients can receive their policy documentation quickly and commission payments can, generally, be speeded up. The main advantages are:

  • Proposals and applications can be processed immediately.
  • Client information can often be transferred from an electronic quote, existing client database or back office system to the electronic application without re-keying or further validation.
  • Sometimes the application can be submitted without any paper documentation.
